Caleb Seth

Here are some pictures of the conditions of the hospital and then some pictures of the baby. We are so thankful everything worked out fine.

Sitting in the room waiting. The doctor had told us to come early, so we were at the hospital by 7:00, but it was 9:00 before they came and did anything, and almost 10:00 before the doctor came. The equipment looked like it was from the 70's.

Notice the dirt spots on the walls. The shower didn't work. Thankfully, it was air conditioned.

Here is Caleb Seth, just minutes after being born.

  2. Congratulations! So happy for you! Did you do a c-section or did they just put that cap on you anyway? :) Was this Haiti or DR?
    Your baby is precious!

  4. No, she didn't do a c-section, but she was induced. No, that is not the shower in the corner, I think it is a small closet thing. The bathroom was off the back and shared by another room. A guy in the other room kept using the bathroom all the time. Caleb weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. We used Dr. Guichard in Petionville and had it at Maternity of Petionville.
